With new partner, travel agency changes name

A Danville travel agency has changed its name and brought on a new partner.

David Giffen, CruiseOne franchise owner, announced Patty Shields as a new business partner for Dream Vacations-Giffen, Shields Associates.

Shields will specialize in cruises, honeymoon planning, Disney travel and resorts in the Caribbean, U.S. and Europe, according to a news release. She has completed vacation specialist training with Dream Vacations and has certifications with Disney, Sandals and numerous other cruise lines and resorts.

While operating as Dave Giffen Associates-CruiseOne, the agency was awarded the Danville Readers’ Choice Award in travel three of the last four years.
