The ship was formally blessed by the Right Reverend Trevor Wilmott with the Venerable Archdeacon Arthur Hawes.

But the most moving moments came from the Welsh men’s choir The Morriston Orpheus Choir, who sang Men Of Harlech and You’ll Never Walk Alone.

Jools Holland and his Big Band were part of the evening’s entertainment and the former Squeeze pianist will be the face of The Club By Jools, one of the entertainment lounges on the ship, which also has a theatre, several lounges, a large Lido pool, spa with hydrotherapy pool and a sports deck.
