Cruises: British luxury cruise liner named best for interior design in prestigious awards

Not only does the liner offer two main dining venues and selection of casual day-time options, travellers may even be lucky enough to witness the musical magic of jazz legend Jools Holland at his onboard venue The Club. 

Modern amenities include a full-length outdoor lido pool and tanning deck, as well as a hydrotherapy pool, infrared sauna and steam room.

The vessel also pays homage to the cruise provider’s legacy, with a fully-glazed observation lounge overlooking the ocean views, crafted in the style of Saga’s pioneering ship. 

Setting sail from Dover and Southampton,  Spirit of Discovery has already docked across Northern Europe and the Mediterranean throughout summer 2019, and is now set for New York and Caribbean cruises throughout the winter months. 

New one-off routes including Greenland, the Arctic, the New World and North Africa are also on offer in 2020.
