✉ Thank you Jenny Coad for daring to raise a subject that resonates so strongly among those of us who married more than 20 years ago (“Don’t reach for the stars with your ’moon’”, last week). A honeymoon is about two people, pure and simple; it should not be a game of one-upmanship, in which the opinions of others count more than the joy and wellbeing of the newly married couple. As the land of romance, and only a two-hour flight for those concerned about their carbon footprint, Italy is the perfect destination.
