You can save hundreds on hotel stays and cruises with these Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals

There will be many travel deals thrown your way this week and next with Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Travel Tuesday right around the corner. In particular, there lots of hotel deals, so we’ve rounded up our favorites to help you save some serious cash on your next trip.

Cruise deals

Nearly every cruise line is offering Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals and discounts. Here are just a few:

Azamara Cruises — Get a double upgrade plus a $500 onboard credit, or add a land program with promo code PREPOST to take $1,000 off your cruise. Offer ends Sunday, Dec. 1, 2019.

Carnival Cruises — Carnival’s Cyber Blowout Early Saver Sale deals end on Sunday, Dec. 1, 2019, so act fast to up to 30% off cruises, 2-for-1 deposits, $5 upgrades, up to $50 in onboard credit and free price protection. Cruise fares are as low as $60 per person, per day.

Celebrity Cruises — $25 deposit, one free perk (Classic Beverage Package, unlimited Wi-Fi, prepaid gratuities or $150 onboard credit per person) plus $100 per person onboard credit. Book by Dec. 3, 2019, for voyages of four nights or longer departing Jan. 1, 2020–May 3, 2021. Offer excludes suites and Galapagos cruises.

Disney Cruise Line — Save up to 25% off select Disney cruises. Eight itineraries are valid for the discount:

7-night Western Caribbean cruise from New Orleans on Feb. 14, 2020, on Disney Wonder from $1,491 per person
7-night Eastern Caribbean cruise from Port Canaveral with special Star Wars Day at Sea on Feb. 22, 2020, on Disney Fantasy from $1,834 per person

Norwegian Cruise Line — NCL’s Cyber Monday Sale offers 30% off all cruises plus up to five free perks, depending on the cabin category you book: open bar, specialty dining, shore excursions, Wi-Fi and kids sail free. Deposits are only $50. Sale ends Dec. 2, 2019, at 11:59 p.m. EST.

Princess Cruises — The line’s Cyber Event has two deals. Sail soon to get up to 40% off the cruise fare and free Wi-Fi. Or, sail at a later date to get up to $800 in onboard credit, free Wi-Fi, two bottles of wine and specialty dining, and cabin upgrade. Deals expire Dec. 10, 2019.

Royal Caribbean — The cruise line’s Cyber Monday Preview sale can net you up to $300 in instant saving plus kids sail free and get 60% off the second guest in the cabin.

For any cruise deal, run the numbers to see if you’re better off booking directly with the cruise line, a travel agent or with an airline cruise vacation specialist. United Cruises, for example, is offering up to 6 miles per $1 spent (capped at 45,000 miles) for cruise bookings. Plus, you can get up to $1,000 in onboard credit, free pre-paid gratuities and up to a $200 United Airlines airfare credit. You can also use your United miles to offset the cash price of a cruise.

United Cruises

American Airlines Cruises has a similar deal where you can earn up to 60,000 AAdvantage miles, a $200 American Airlines airfare credit, free pre-paid gratuities, up to $1,000 onboard credit and free kids fares.

Wyndham Vacation Clubs

Wyndham has some great vacation club properties throughout the US and just launched an offer to stay at them for even less. With this Black Friday and Cyber Monday promotion, you can book at a participating property for up to 40% off. Stay slope side in Park City with 20% off or hit the beaches in Northwest Florida with 30% off.

Each region has their own eligibility dates, but you must book by Dec. 2, 2019 to receive the discount. Use promo code BFCM19.

Wyndham Hotels Resorts

In addition to their Vacation Club offer, Wyndham Hotels Resorts are also extended Black Friday savings to their travelers. At participating hotels in Europe, Middle East and Africa, you can save 30% off their best available rate. This is for stays through Feb. 29, 2020 and all reservations must be made by Dec. 2, 2019.

Hyatt

If you are looking to score some discounted Hyatt gift cards, now is the chance. Hyatt is offering 10% off gift card purchases between Nov. 29 through Dec. 2, 2019 and Dec. 20 through Dec. 23, 2019. Use promo code WINTER19. Hyatt gift cards can be redeemed at participating Hyatt hotels in North America, Canada, Mexico, Caribbean, Central America and South America.

Since these gift cards are not processed by Hyatt directly, they will not code as travel if you are using a credit card that includes “travel” as a bonus category. You also will not be able to use your gift cards for prepaid rates since you’ll have to redeem the gift card during the checkout process.

IHG

IHG Hotels has a Cyber Sale promotion across its 5,500+ properties around the world, offering discounts of up to 25% off the best available rate. Book between Nov. 11 and Dec. 17, 2019, for stays between Nov. 14, 2019, and May 31, 2020.

If you’re a frequent InterContinental visitor, you can earn 10,000 bonus points when you enroll in the InterContinental Ambassador Program. It grants benefits like room upgrades, 4 p.m. checkouts and a free weekend night.

Between Nov. 29 and Dec. 6, 2019, some Kimpton properties will donate $5 per night booked to these charities: The Trevor Project and No Kid Hungry.

Radisson Hotels

Radisson is offering 25% off all weekend stays in 2020. Additionally, the sale is also available for weekdays between April 6 and April 19, 2020. Book by Dec. 3, 2019, for stays between Jan. 2 and Dec. 31, 2020. Use promo code CYBERMON.

A weekend night includes:

Europe and Africa: Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights
Middle East: Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights
United States, Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean: Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights

This promotion allows you to stay at the Radisson New York in Midtown for as low $120 this winter or the Country Inn Suites in Orlando for less than $100 a good chunk of the year.

Vail Resorts

Vail Resorts Hospitality properties are offering discounted lodging deals at the slopes this winter. Rates are up to 40% off and will give you the opportunity to stay at Breckenridge, Vail, Beaver Creek, Keystone, Crested Butte, Park City, Kirkwood, Northstar, Heavenly, Whistler Blackcomb and Okemo.

For example, a night at the Hyatt Place Keystone starts at $149/night. Or this is also a great place to use your World of Hyatt points as it is a Category 4, which means only 15,000 points a night. Kids 12 and under also ski for free at Keystone with a participating hotel stay of 2+ nights.

This sale kicks off on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2019, and will run through Monday, Dec. 2, 2019.

Choice Hotels

If you’re in the market to increase your Choice Privileges point balance, you can purchase them with a 40% bonus. Purchasing Choice points can often save you money on an upcoming stay, especially since the program allows you to redeem the same number of points for an upgraded room (think two-bedroom suite for no up-charge). Choice has also increased the cap on the number of points you can purchase in the calendar year to 250,000 points (typically it’s just 120,000 points). This promotion goes through Dec. 2, 2019.

Hilton

Hilton is offering 50% off hotel bookings in Japan, Korea and Guam for stays booked between Nov. 26 and Nov. 29, 2019, and travel through June 30, 2020. To take advantage of these discounted rates, you must be a Hilton Honors member.

Expedia

Expedia kicks off its Black Friday deals at noon ET that day. There will be a few different coupons travelers can take advantage of, but the deals are only available while supplies last. Some offers could sell out within just a few minutes of launching.

Although other coupon codes could appear during the week, these are the offers that we know of so far:

Coupon 1: 75% off select hotels when using the Expedia app — available on Nov. 29 at 9 a.m. PT (EXPIRED)
Coupon 2: 25% off select hotels on all devices — available on Nov. 29 at 9 a.m. PT (EXPIRED)
Coupon 3: 95% off select hotels when using the Expedia app — available on Dec. 2 at 9 a.m. PT
Coupon 4: 25% off select hotels on all devices — available on Dec. 2 at 9 a.m. PT

Expedia is also offering a 70,000 point welcome offer on their Expedia® Rewards Voyager Card after making $2,000 in purchases within the first three months. The points are worth up to $1,000 at VIP Access hotels. The card has a $95 annual fee. The offer ends Dec. 2, 2019.

Card benefits include: Expedia Rewards Gold status, $100 annual air travel fee credit, 5,000 anniversary bonus points after you spend $10,000 in the prior cardmembership year and no foreign transaction fees.

Priceline

On Cyber Monday, Priceline will send an exclusive Black Friday and Cyber Monday promotion to all email subscribers. Subscribers will also receive a hotel Express Deal mystery coupon for either 99%, 15% or 10% off (up to $500 in savings). You need to be an email subscriber by Sunday, Dec. 1 at 11:59 p.m. ET to receive the deal.

Hotwire

Book a Hotwire “Hot Rate Hotel” between Nov. 27 and Nov. 29 and receive up to $70 off:

Booking.com

Booking.com is advertising 40% off select hotels; there is no promotion code. This sale is for stays booked between Nov. 27 and Dec. 2 for travel Nov. 27, 2019 through March 31, 2020.

HotelTonight

HotelTonight is offering 25% off for hotels booked via their app on Dec. 2 and Dec. 3: Cyber Monday and Travel Tuesday. Use promo code HTDEAL25.

OneOnly

To mark Black Friday, OneOnly is offering up to 40% off stays booked by Dec. 2, 2019. For all included properties, you have almost a year to complete your stay with travel dates ranging between September and December 2020.

Rocketmiles

The third-party hotel booking site Rocketmiles is offering travelers an additional 5,000 bonus miles or points on airline loyalty programs, or a $50 Amazon Gift card, on all reservations at participating hotels made between Nov. 29 and Dec. 2, 2019. With Rocketmiles, instead of earning your traditional hotel points on your stay, you can instead earn miles with participating airline programs or gift cards at select merchants.

Hotels.com

Hotels.com is offering 11% off bookings at participating Best Price Guarantee hotels, use promotion code INSPIRE. This is valid for bookings made between Nov. 29 and Dec. 2, 2019 for travel through March 31, 2020. The coupon does not apply to hotel + flight bookings or those where you pay at the hotel directly.

Melia Hotels

Meliá Hotels is offering up to 50% plus kids stay free at select hotels around the world redeemable in over 350 cities in 40 countries. This promotion is available for reservations made between Nov. 25 and Dec. 1, 2019. Booking can be done either online or on the Meliá app. Some deals we’re seeing for the promotion include a stay at the Paradisus Punta Cana from $176 a night, the Meliá Sevilla from $93 a night, the Meliá Orlando Suite Hotel at Celebration from $72 a night and the Inside Prague Old Town from $32 a night.

Accor Hotels

Get up to 40% off your stay at over 2,000+ Accor Hotels. This is for hotels booked through Dec. 2, 2019 for stays between Jan. 1 and March 15, 2020. This Black Friday sale is for non-refundable reservations, so just make sure you are 100% confirmed on your travel plans.
