12 important moments of "One Night Spouse" (RECAP) – TV Insider

Season 10 of the Sried Married at First Sight went on during Wednesday’s broadcast, but it was anything but smooth sailing for some.

Below we break the most important moments from the episode entitled “One Night Spouse”, in which the newlyweds went to their honeymoon location. Discover how paradise treats our couples, but watch out for spoilers.

Brandon’s gift

Brandon sets the bar high when he gives his wife a silver heart pendant from Tiffany’s as a sign to commemorate their commitment. The words “Mrs. Reid” are etched on the jewelry that excites the bride.

Awkward Michael

In an attempt to get ready for bed, Meka asks new man Michael to unbutton her dress as a means to help her. His automatic answer? Michael fell back and said he wasn’t ready before he gave in.

Derek spills the beans

Having been grilled by Katie’s friends in the previous episode, she asked Derek what they were saying and he was giggling all the way when he withheld their orders to “fire” his wife.

Twin stamp of approval

During family gatherings, Austin meets Jessica’s twin sister and husband, whom he tries to impress. It is clear at the end of their meeting that he has the dual seal of Jessica’s sister.

Bullying parents

During Jessica’s meeting with the Austin family, his mother is tolerant, but initially she is strict with her new daughter-in-law. The same goes for the treatment of Brandon by Taylor’s family who makes him sweat before he can leave the table.

Blessing

In the middle of the meeting with Katie’s family, Derek asks to see her father somewhere private. He reveals that although he appears to be married at first sight, he is rather traditional and asks for the man’s blessing on his and Katie’s marriage, which he easily deserves.

When Mindy’s friends meet Zach, one of them points to his modeling career and wonders if he ventured attention in MAFS. He says no, but she still looks skeptical about the handsome hubby.

emotionally

During a meeting with Meka’s family, Michael is asked if he has ever cheated a partner. He is frank when he answers that he has cheated, but only emotionally. This shocked Meka’s mother, but she admires his honesty.

Panama party

In the early days of their trade unions, the couples received the usual boxes from the show that contained swag for their honeymoon and revealed that they would travel to Panama.

Sensible tension

When the five pairs arrive in Panama, both Mindy and Derek (in testimonials) notice a tangible tension between Michael and Meka. We later learn that Meka is upset because Michael supposedly gave her an ultimatum that if she does not complete their marriage before the honeymoon is over, he will not continue with the union. He denies her claims, but they sleep in separate rooms towards the end of the episode.

In Jessica and Austin’s room there are many bugs while the couple tackles Panama wildlife in their space, including a large beetle and lizard.

Mindy’s mood

At the end of the episode we add Mindy in a video diary-like format while revealing that she had to leave her room to get away from Zach. Upset, she claims she can’t be around him, but doesn’t give too much information about this.
