Norwegian cancels Asia cruise in response to coronavirus

Philip Benz, a resident of France, said he and his wife both have mild but chronic respiratory issues and cannot risk contact with the virus or a prolonged quarantine. Benz said he’d been trying to get Norwegian to refund their $3,293 prepaid fare since news of the virus broke in January. The cruise line offered a 10 percent refund plus a 25 percent credit toward a future cruise, but that “pitiful offer” was “no better than treating a heart attack with a Band-Aid,” Benz said by email.
