Port Canaveral is furloughing 50 employees due to lost cruise travel business

The furloughs are expected to last until May 30, but will be dependent on when cruise lines resume operations at Port Canaveral, the second-busiest cruise port in the nation. The port currently services Carnival Cruise Line, Disney Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean International and Norwegian Cruise Line.
