More hotels are reopening in the Caribbean
Covid-19 temporarily shuttered the region’s hotel industry, but many properties continue to publish reopening plans. Here is a partial list.
GoldenEye in Oracabessa, Jamaica, reopened Aug. 21.
Bequia Beach Hotel, St. Vincent The Grenadines, is scheduled for Oct. 1. The resort’s two Friendship Bay Estate Villas will open on Nov. 1.
St. James’s Club in Antigua is scheduled for Oct. 14.
AMResorts’ reopenings in Punta Cana include Now Onyx on Oct. 1; Dreams, Oct. 2; Secrets Royal Beach, Oct. 22; Dreams Palm Beach, Oct. 24; Now Larimar, Nov. 1; Sunscape Puerto Plata, Nov. 4; Zoetry Agua and Breathless, Nov. 5 and Dreams Dominicus in La Romana, Nov. 1.

Palladium Hotel Group plans to reopen Grand Palladium Palace Resort, Spa Casino, Grand Palladium Bavaro Suites Resort Spa, Grand Palladium Punta Cana Resort Spa, and TRS Turquesa Hotel, all in Punta Cana, on Oct. 9. TRS Cap Cana opens Oct. 30.
The Turks Caicos Collection’s Beach House is to reopen Nov. 1; Belmond Cap Juluca on Anguilla plans to reopen Nov. 1; Belmond La Samanna on St. Martin reopens Nov. 2; The Christopher, St Barts plans to reopen Nov. 24.
