Oceania and Regent Seven Seas Cruises have new leader

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings said Kunal Kamlani, president and chief operating officer of the recently acquired Prestige Cruise Holdings, has resigned.

Kamlani had been the president of the Prestige operating brands, Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises, as well.

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings recently completed a $3.03 billion acquisition of Prestige.

Norwegian said Jason Montague has been named to succeed Kamlani, as of Dec. 1. In a statement, Norwegian described Montague as instrumental in launching Oceania Cruises in 2002 and said he is “widely regarded as one of the original co-founders of the company.”

Prestige CEO Frank Del Rio said, “We are confident that both the Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises brands will continue to prosper and grow with Jason at the helm.”

Montague had been executive vice president and CFO at Prestige prior to the acquisition. Since the acquisition was announced, he has been executive vice president and chief integration officer for Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings.
