Travel Scene: China and Europe venues spur surge in cruising

It’s almost a given that more and more people are cruising. In fact, according to estimates, almost a million more people will take cruises this year than in 2014.

According to Cruise Line International Association, the major trade organization for the industry, roughly 23 million persons will cruise this year — mainly from North American ports — as compared to the 22.1 million cruise passengers in 2014.
