Groom spends ENTIRE honeymoon in hospital after falling through rotted hotel balcony

Troy and Julie McCann, 48 and 49, pleaded guilty to failing to maintain a proper balcony. 

The couple were fined £4000 each and ordered to pay costs of more than £3000. 

They were described in court as ‘highly respected hoteliers’ with no prior breaches of health and safety. 

While his foray into married life got off to a shaky start, Matt acknowledges the outcome could have been far worse.
