LIAT deal with Caribbean Helicopters not renewed
Caribbean
carrier LIAT ended its partnership with Caribbean Helicopters, which had been
operating service between Anguilla and Nevis, following the expiration of a
short-term agreement on Nov. 19.
LIAT
hinted that the route wasn’t profitable.
“As
we continue to pursue operational efficiency and profitability, both our partner
Caribbean Helicopters and LIAT decided not to extend the arrangement,” the
airline said in a statement.
LIAT
is supported by four shareholder governments: Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados,
Dominica and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
