Crystal River Cruises opens Amsterdam office

Crystal River Cruises opened a new operations support office in Amsterdam on Monday, which will provide Crystal Cruises with additional operations assistance for its growing river cruise business.

Crystal Cruises CEO Edie Rodriguez and Walter Littlejohn, vice president and managing director of Crystal River Cruises, were on hand to officially open the office with a special ribbon cutting and breakfast reception.

Crystal’s river cruise business was officially launched earlier this year when the rebuilt Crystal Mozart set sail in July. The first of Crystal’s newly built river cruise vessels, the Crystal Bach and Crystal Mahler, will debut on the Rhine, Danube and Main rivers in the summer of 2017.

The two luxury vessels will be the first of what Crystal is calling its Rhine Class of river yachts, with the Crystal Debussy and Crystal Ravel to follow in 2018. All four vessels are being built as all-balcony, all- suite river ships.

The four Crystal river yachts will also offer butler service for all guests, king-sized beds that face towards the balconies, walk-in closets, dual vanities in the bathrooms in most room categories, wall-mounted flat-screen HD TVs, and Nespresso machines. There will be multiple, open-seating eateries oboard, a full-service spa, a fitness center equipped with cardio equipment and free weights, and a swimming pool with a glass roof.

The 2017 and 2018 voyages aboard Crystal Mozart, Crystal Bach, Crystal Mahler, Crystal Debussy and Crystal Ravel are all open for booking.
