Black Friday shopping is here — and you don’t have to go to the mall to find good bargains. Travelers should check out these limited-time deals that offer savings on hotel rooms, cruises, tours and more.
British Airways will give fliers free London hotel rooms when they buy tickets on flights leaving the U.S. on Jan. 10 or 14. Yes, it’s a bid to get off-season travelers onto planes. Legoland California offers half off a one-day Legoland/Sea Hopper Pass for the sale price of $55. And you can snag rooms starting at $123 at the theme park in Carlsbad, Calif. G Adventures slashes 200 tours by 25% to 35% during the Black Friday-Cyber Monday weekend. Some examples: A nine-day kayaking adventure in Costa Rica costs $824 per person instead of $1,099, and an eight-day multisport trip to Jordan costs $1,124 instead of $1,499 (airfares are extra). Swiss-based MSC Cruises adds perks to its 2-for-1 deal on Caribbean cruises with prices as low as $400 per person for a seven-night sailing from Miami to the Bahamas, Puerto Rico and St Maarten.
