Letters: your booze cruise views

LETTER OF THE WEEK
As a cruise agent and a Millwall season-ticket holder, I wonder whether the “one passenger” who described the rumpus on board PO’s Britannia as a cross between the Last Night of the Proms and a Millwall football crowd has actually witnessed either first hand (“Booze cruise backlash”, last week). While news of the trouble on board the ship is, of course, disturbing, anyone who thinks this kind of behaviour is the exception rather than the rule has clearly never travelled on a train leaving London late on a Saturday evening, and to link the story with the behaviour of Millwall fans is not only lazy journalism, but also gives those involved rather too much credit. Up the Lions!
