Cruise Holidays realigned under V-com

Travel Leaders Group has decided to make Cruise Holidays a division of Vacation.com, a move that the company says will strengthen the franchise.

“Because of Vacation.com’s sheer size and scope, [Cruise Holidays franchise owners] will be in a position to further avail themselves of everything that our consortium offers, including additional suppliers, particularly on the tour side,” said John Lovell, Travel Leaders’ president of franchises and consortia.

Cruise Holidays agencies will be invited to continue using the Cruise Holidays brand via an annual license.

The franchise will continue to have its own programs, services and preferred suppliers, Travel Leaders said.

Kevin Weisner, Cruise Holidays’ senior vice president, will remain with the company and join the Vacation.com senior management team.
