Pirates Of The Caribbean star travels to Middle East to fight Islamic State

Michael Enright, 51, who played a deckhand in the 2006 Dead Man’s Chest instalment of the hit movies series starring Johnny Depp, 51, appeared in a video released by the Kurdish People’s Protection Units, known as the YPG.

It showed him in a trench with other fighters firing an assault rifle.

”Isis are dangerous to every human being alive,’’ Enright said in the video, posted on the YPG’s Facebook page.

”They need to be wiped off completely from the face of this earth.

”I didn’t come here to run, I came here to fight and if I have to die, then I die.

”I didn’t come here to play games.’”

Enright, who also appeared in the movie Knight And Day, starring Tom Cruise, 52, and Cameron Diaz, 42, and TV series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, called for more weapons and medical aid for the Kurdish fighters, describing them as “my havals”.

In an interview with Dubai-based Al-Aan TV from the Kurdish city of Hassakeh, the actor said he became aware of Isis when the terror network “cut off an American journalist’s head”.
