HAL opens Caribbean bookings for Koningsdam

Holland America
Line has begun accepting bookings for the Caribbean season of its
newest ship, Koningsdam.

The
2,662-passenger ship will begin sailing from Fort Lauderdale’s Port Everglades in November 2016
after a summer season in Europe.

HAL said it will
initially offer nine, 10- and 11-day itineraries. Seven-day and nine-day holiday
cruises depart on Dec. 23 and Dec. 30, respectively. 

The ship’s longer cruises
showcase more ports in the region and include lesser-visited islands such as
Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Jamaica, Martinique and St. Lucia.

Two different seven-day
itineraries will be offered in January and February.
