3. The Summer Garden
Ancient trees, beautiful pond with birds, majestic sculptures, quiet alleys, Tea House of Peter, the view of the Neva and the Fontanka give you unforgettable impressions. 4. St. Isaac’s Cathedral (Isaakievsky cathedral)
St. Isaac’s Cathedral is located in the heart of the city, its dome is one of the largest in the world. And also it is the largest Museum of mosaic paintings.

5. Petropavlovskaya fortress
The main landmark is Petropavlovsky cathedral – the crypt of the Russian emperors. Also there are several museums here such as the prison of Trubetskoy Bastion, the commandant’s house, mint. The fortress is surrounded by water from all sides.

Petropavlovskaya fortress (within the walls) is open to visitors daily from 9.00 am to 21:00.
The Museum is open daily except Wednesdays. Wednesday is day off.

6. Aleksandro Nevskaya Lavra
This City sculpture Museum under the open sky includes Troitsky cathedral, a few cemeteries and male Orthodox monastery. Here you can visit cathedral and also see graves of A. Nevsky, A. Suvorov, P.Tchaikovsky and many other famous people.

7. The Cruiser “Aurora”
This ship is a symbol of Saint-Petersburg. There are interesting historical exhibits in this small naval Museum.

8. The Kunstkamera (The Cabinet of curiosities)
The Kunstkamera is the first Museum of St. Petersburg, which was founded and approved by Peter I. The most famous exposure in this museum is exposure of anatomical abnormalities (“freaks”).

10. The Savior on blood (Spas-on-Blood)
Spas-on-Blood is a beautiful festive and vibrant Church in the pseudo-Russian style, was founded in 1883 onthe site of the tragic events of March 1, 1881. That day Emperor Alexander II heading to the parade was mortally wounded.
