Travel Spot: Watch that first step — it’s a doozie

We’re looking for new photos for the Leader’s “Travel Spot” feature, which regularly is posted on the Leader website.
This week’s Travel Spot came from Carol Sklenar, 69, of Arnold, who took these photos of her new husband, Ed, at the south rim of the Grand Canyon during the couple’s honeymoon trip in May 2014.
“I’m afraid of heights,” she says. “But Ed is more concerned with getting the best shot than with falling off the edge of the cliff!”
Anyone who would like to share a photo taken on your travels is asked to send it to nrweakly@aol.com with information about when and where it was taken and who’s featured in the photo. Include your name and the town you live in. Also, include a phone number in case we have questions. The phone number won’t be published.
