2 dead after cruise ship hits bridge in southern Germany

Authorities say the river cruise ship hit a rail bridge in southern Germany, crushing the wheelhouse and leaving two crew members dead. The ship had just cast off early Sunday from the town of Erlangen on its way to the Hungarian capital, Budapest, along the Main-Danube Canal when the accident occurred, the news agency dpa reported.
