Rolling in it! Dublin to earn €6million as mini-season homeport for Celebrity Cruises

More than 180,000 cruise passengers have passed through Dublin Port in 2016 during more than 100 cruise ship calls.

Four of these were cruise ship turnarounds where the ship begins an itinerary and guests embark but the 2018 mini season will bring significant growth to the port.  

Celebrity Cruises’ Solstice-class ships are the newest in its fleet, introduced between 2008 and 2012.

The company has won several awards, particularly for its food and wine, and boasts the largest and rarest collection of wine at sea plus onboard restaurants overseen by a Michelin-starred executive chef.
