Muskat leaving MSC Cruises
MSC Cruises North America said Ken Muskat, its executive
vice president for sales, public relations and guest services for the past 3-and-a-half
years, is leaving at the end of December.
Muskat came to MSC from a vice president’s role at Royal
Caribbean International. He’s been a key executive in building trade support
for the mostly European brand, expanding its footprint in anticipation of more
full-time ships in North America.
He also serves as chairman of CLIA’s trade relations
committee.
An MSC spokeswoman said Muskat was leaving to pursue a new
opportunity. “Ken has been a tremendous asset to the company and we are
extremely fortunate to have benefited from his industry expertise and
leadership over the past few years,” a statement said.
Earlier this year, MSC elevated Rick Sasso, longtime
president of the North American operation, to chairman and named Roberto
Fusaro, head of MSC Cruises’ Latin America operation, as president of MSC
Cruises North America.
