Caribbean Princess had Princess Cruises’ largest food and drink renovation ever in this year’s refit when seven new dining options were introduced to complement the smart-casual-style onboard dining.

World Fresh Marketplace replaces Horizon Court buffet on deck 14 with a new look and layout plus new sections such as a pancake station, carvery and hand-crafted sandwiches.

Planks BBQ and Steamers Seafood are new to the Princess fleet with Planks BBQ serving ribs, beef, sausages and chicken – plus fries, chili, coleslaw and dill pickles.

Steamers Seafood has mussels, scallops, clams, prawns and crab-stuffed flounder with king crab legs or lobster tail for $10.

Both restaurants serve complimentary buffet-style breakfasts and lunch with waiter served dinner for a $12 per person cover charge.

Four Princess pool deck dining venues have been redesigned and renamed.

The Salty Dog Grill replaces Trident Grill and its signature “Ernesto” burger with a $5 service charge is made of rib eye beef, grilled pork belly, caramelised kimchi, beer battered jalapeno, aioli and cheese.

Other classics such as tacos with grilled chipotle chicken or sweet potato-green chili are complimentary.

Slice, formerly Pizzeria, has a new complimentary menu that includes deep dish focaccia layered Neapolitan-style pizza with marinara, meatballs and cheese.

Coffee Cones is a coffee and ice cream venue on the top deck and the first in the fleet to offer speciality coffee.
