Honeymoon, Harry? It’s right here

We’ve had chapter and verse on the proposal, the ring, the venue, the parents and the chicken dinners. When it’s all finally done next May, Harry and Meghan are going to want a bit of time off. The question is: where?

Neither of them has called us yet to ask for advice — well, it’s been a busy week for everyone — but obviously the phone will be ringing soon. The Sunday Times Travel team is standing by for a conference call. Here are a few ideas for starters.

First off, they should go somewhere they haven’t been as a couple before. Honeymoons are about making memories, not reviving them. That rubs out Botswana, Tromso, Jamaica and Soho Farmhouse, in Oxfordshire. Plenty left.
