The Edge will be ready early, so Celebrity adds cruises

Celebrity Cruises has added five December cruises for the Celebrity
Edge because the ship will be delivered early from the yard.

Celebrity has scheduled four pre-inaugural preview cruises
to the Bahamas departing Nov. 21 and 24, and Dec. 3 and 6 from Fort Lauderdale.

The first official cruise for the 2,918-passenger ship will
now depart Dec. 9. The seven-day western Caribbean cruise will visit Key West,
Costa Maya, Cozumel and Grand Cayman, and will be followed by the previously
announced maiden voyage, a seven-day eastern Caribbean cruise departing Fort
Lauderdale on Dec. 16.

The Celebrity Edge is the first in a new class of ships for
Celebrity. Other ships in the class are planned for delivery in 2020, 2021 and
2022.
