Cruise: Never wear this one thing on a cruise ship – major mistake explained

Many islands in the Caribbean, such as Antigua, Barbados, Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago do not allow camouflage clothing.

It is also illegal in Zimbabwe and Oman, and could lead to dire consequences.

Civilians are not allowed to wear clothing that is associated with military or law enforcement. It could mean jail time with tourists being arrested.

A cruise ship worker has said there’s on thing cruisers have to do on a ship – even though they’ll hate it. 

The one thing cruise holidaymakers absolutely have to do, no matter which cruise line they’re with, is attend the muster drill for heath and safety reasons. 

No matter how dull you might find it, or how many you have been to on previous cruises, this drill is compulsory.

“It’s no secret that passengers have a special hate/hate relationship with the emergency boat drills that take place at the beginning of each cruise,” said Joshua Kinser in his book Chronicles of a Cruise Ship Crew Member.

“For most passengers, it only takes one boat drill to become instantly aware that they are something you absolutely dislike.”
