Cruise: Never pack this one thing in your luggage for a cruise ship holiday
Cruise holidaymakers should avoid ever packing books in their luggage for a trip at sea.
Cruise lines may be fairly generous with luggage allowance but restrictions are in place, especially when it comes to weight.
Books not only take up precious space in suitcases but they are also often heavy – and could push you over your luggage limit.
What’s more, there is no need to pack books as cruise ships all have libraries on board – which many people may not realise.
A Princess Cruises spokeswoman told Express.co.uk: “There is a library on all of our ships. The library area is open for browsing and reading 24 hours a day.”
She added: “Ships are stocked with an extensive library including contemporary titles in a wide range of categories. There are books on art, history, sports, travel, health and wellness, natural history, and reference materials, including a world atlas and dictionary.”
