Cruise ship passengers warned NEVER to make this big mistake with ‘friendly’ crew

Herring revealed that passengers were often keen to develop an onboard fling. “Many passengers had nothing against a romantic encounter with a crew member. Some prefer it. Some found it enhanced their vacation,” he said.

For those who do become amorous on board, it’s important not to have sex on a cruise ship balcony, said cruise expert site Cruise Critic. 

It might be tempting to indulge in the activity when the romantic mood strikes but there’s good reason why you shouldn’t. 

Cruise ship balconies may well be visible from surrounding balconies, and, if you’re in port, from land. It’s entirely possible you’ll end up with an audience to your shenanigans.

Cruise Critic also advises against sunbathing naked on your cruise ship balcony.

The website points out that the fact that balconies are tiered could result in others being given quite the show.
