Cruise: Royal Caribbean unveils personal ‘spa’ luxury in new cabins – how much do they cos

The new spa stateroom is described by the cruise holiday provider as “your private retreat for relaxing and recharging”.

The staterooms come with a double bed, sofa space, plenty of storage and a walk-in bathroom.

Guests will also enjoy an Oceanview balcony with high quality, cushioned outdoor furniture.

The spa Stateroom will include a range of “calming in-room amenities” including specialist, down-feather bedding and “upgraded toiletries”.

Passengers staying in a spa room will also benefit from 50 per cent off one spa treatment, priority spa reservations, a welcome basket of fresh fruit and daily coffee and tea deliveries.

Meanwhile in-room technology including a bluetooth speaker and jetted shower head will allow passengers to take the spa back to their abode at the end of each day.

Though the exact price of the new staterooms isn’t yet public, the firm will be allowing booking starting 28 October for journeys departing in 2021 and 2022.

The cabins will be featured on Radiance-, Voyager-, Freedom-, Oasis-, Quantum- and Quantum Ultra-class ships.

“Royal Caribbean’s Spa staterooms are a retreat for connecting, relaxing and recharging with every detail considered to empower our guests’ relaxation and wellbeing,” a Royal Caribbean spokesperson said.
