Black Friday, Cyber Monday travel deals: Flights, cruises, hotels, more sales for your next trip
Black Friday and Cyber Monday aren’t just for Target, Best Buy and Amazon.
Travel companies trot out deal after deal in hopes of convincing holiday shoppers to give the gift of travel or treat themselves this holiday season.
Airlines, cruise lines, hotels, rail lines and even Las Vegas nightclubs and Cirque du Soleil shows get in on the action with special promotions.
So pull out your 2020 travel agenda or wish list and start shopping. Be sure to do your homework so you don’t have buyer’s remorse.
Black Friday is Nov. 29, Cyber Monday, Dec. 2. And some travel retailers have coined a day of their own, Travel Tuesday, which is Dec. 3.
USA TODAY will be updating this list throughout Thanksgiving week and into next week, so check back. The newest deals will appear at the bottom of each section.
Airline, flight deals
Aer Lingus
The deal: $100 off a round-trip economy flight to Europe and $200 off round-trip business class flight to Europe, leaving from select U.S. and Canada cities.

Scandinavian Airlines (SAS)
The deal: Round-trip fares starting at $349 between the U.S. and Europe. The cheapest fare is for SAS’ version of basic economy, called Go Light. The airline has flights from several U.S. gateways, including New York, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

The deal: One-way discounted fares to and from select cities.

MGM Resorts International
The deal: Discounts up to 35% at hotels including Bellagio, MGM Grand, Mirage and a host of other hotels on the Las Vegas Strip. Members of the M life Rewards loyalty program receive an additional 5%.

The deal: The InterContinental Hotels Group, with properties worldwide, is offering savings of at least 20% off the best flexible rate. IHG Rewards Club members get an additional 5-10% off by booking between Nov. 29 and Dec. 6. Members also earn four times the points on stays booked by Dec. 15 and completed by Jan. 31.

SeaWorld Orlando
The deals: 60% off weekday tickets, 50% off any day tickets and 25% off its Fun Card, which allows admission for the year subject to blackout dates. Special experiences, including dining with killer whales or a dolphin tour, are 50% off.

Disneyland via Getaway Today
The deal: Discount Disneyland tickets are rare, but reputable re-seller Getaway Today is offering adult tickets for kid prices for 3-, 4- and 5-day passports. That’s a savings of $20 per ticket. You’re also locking in current prices, as Disney customarily raises admission early in the new year.
Sale dates: Through Dec. 2.

Legoland New York Resort
The deal: Buy the Gold Pass (typically $209.99) for only $99.99, which offers benefits, including unlimited year-long admission.

MSC Cruises
The deal: Perks including free drinks, Wi-Fi and gratuities on week-long Caribbean cruises booked on four ships. The cruise line says the perks are worth more than $700.

The deal: It’s the company’s self-proclaimed largest sale ever, featuring 20 million special email codes. There will be a flash sale every two hours throughout the Black Friday/Cyber Monday weekend.

Hopper
The deal: Find deals from Hopper partners like Air New Zealand and Singapore Airlines on Travel Tuesday, including $50 cash back deals when you book round-trip flights using the service to destinations such as Tokyo and Rome.

Avis Car Rental
The deal: Get up to 15% of your reservation price in the form of an Amazon gift card. You don’t need to be an Amazon Prime member to take advantage of the deal, though will have to wait longer for the gift card (and only receive 10% back).
