For first time, Uniworld to offer Amazon cruises

Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection will set sail in
South America for the first time with two itineraries in the Peruvian Amazon.

Cruises aboard the 32-passenger Aria Amazon are set to debut
in September 2020.

The itineraries include the 15-day “Peruvian Amazon
Machu Picchu Exploration.” It starts off with a land vacation in Lima, followed
by a seven-night cruise through the Amazon rainforest. The voyage ends in the
heartland of the Inca Empire with trips to the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, and
Cusco.

The 11-day “Peruvian Rivers Rainforest Discovery”
takes guests to explore Lima and the Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve. Guests sail
the Amazon River roundtrip from Iquitos. 

Prices start at $11,999 per person, and bookings open to the
general public Dec. 16.
