Cruise Holidays changes name of booking tool
Cruise Holidays will rebrand its CruiseWeb booking system as AgentMate, reflecting functional changes made in recent years.
Kevin Weisner, senior vice president of the franchisor, said the change was driven in part to reflect the system’s focus on land vacation as well as cruise. It also has evolved from primarily a back-office program to more of a sales and prospect-management tool.
“Our job is to help drive a sale to our franchisees, and this is the next frontier in doing that,” Weisner said.
Weisner outlined the change to franchisees attending the annual conference aboard Norwegian Breakaway this week.
He also introduced new lead-management capabilities within AgentMate that make it easier for franchisees to keep their prospect data electronically, rather than on paper. Weisner said it addresses the problems of larger agencies that are having trouble supervising sales and close rates.
Cruise Holidays, a part of Travel Leaders Group, has 174 franchisees in the U.S., Canada, the U.K. and Australia.
