Tokoriki Island Resort is looking at tapping the Indian honeymooners market.

Located in Mamanuca Islands in Fiji, the resort is located 15 minutes away from Nadi International Airport and 75 minutes by a large catamaran. The all-adult resort offers three type of accommodations, totaling to 34 bures and villas surrounded with tropical gardens.

“We have three types of accommodation ranging from beachfront bures, beachfront pool bures and sunset pool villa. The beachfront pool bures are a latest addition to the property offering a private pool with the bure facing the beach, while sunset pool villa has been particularly popular with the honeymoon market as it offers a very spacious experience with a living room, bedroom, pool and two day-beds to relax,” said Patrice Belle, director of sales and marketing at Tokoriki Island Resort.

For the Indian market, the resort is working closely with the inbound operators in Fiji and the tourism board to promote the resort as a honeymoon destination, along with active participation in the road shows for the last two years. The resort is also promoting its unlimited spa package starting US$190 (FJD350) for three days unlimited spa, US$244 (FJD450) for four days and US$298 (FJD550) for five days treatments.

“Other than the unlimited spa package, honeymooners can also opt for a private dinner at the deck. We have about four tables for private dinner along with our team entertaining them with music and songs through the evening. Our biggest advantage is our team which comprise of local villagers who make a memorable experience for the travellers,” Belle added.

Other facilities at the resort include an array of watersports activities like snorkeling, windsurfing, kayaking, sailing, paddle boarding, fishing as well as other day picnics, weaving classes, fashion shows and cultural entertainment. The resort also offers PADI certified courses for scuba diving.

Tokoriki’s major source markets include travellers from Australia, New Zealand and USA.
