Luggage Mule strikes cruise deal

Baggage delivery firm Luggage Mule has signed a deal with cruise ground handler Intercruises to create a new service for cruise passengers.

The Home to Cruise Cabin service will be launched with an introductory price of £50 return for a 30kg item of luggage with a two-day delivery turnaround.

It will initially operate for cruises leaving from Southampton but plans are for it to be extended to major cruise ports in the Mediterranean such as Barcelona.

Luggage Mule managing director Jordan Makin said “We believe the Home to Cabin service will be very popular with cruise customers, who are often a little older and would welcome a concierge service that removes hassle by picking up luggage from their doorstep and delivering directly into to their cruise ship cabin.”
