Cruise news: How often do passengers go overboard a ship?
The 33-year-old cruise worker was found 26 miles outside of the search zone after falling from a Carnival Cruise ship near Cuba.
After 22 hours of searching 1,600 square miles, he was eventually found and a lifeboat was sent to rescue him.
He is currently in a stable condition after being treated onboard, with Carnival Cruise president Christine Duffy calling it “miraculous”.
But how often do passengers fall overboard a cruise ship?
Thankfully, the rate of people falling into the sea is rather low.
