Cruise warning: Couple forced off ship during holiday after making this VERY easy mistake

The pair had failed to buy their visa for China, meaning they would not be allowed to enter the port.

According to news.com.au, Holland America attempted to get emergency visas as well as spoke to officials to allow them to stay onboard if the couple did not leave the ship in the port.

However they were unsuccessful so were forced to remove the couple at the port before.

Express.co.uk has contacted Holland America for comment.

Mr Coates said: “Holland America removed us from the ship. They left us, literally on the dock.

“It was up to us to find our way to the airport and then pay $2400 for additional airfare to get home.”
