The calm, warm waters of the Caribbean Sea are a big draw for snorkellers, but sea swimming isn’t for everyone. The French line Ponant has given the glass-bottom boat concept a five-star makeover with the Blue Eye lounge, where you can spot lobsters, parrotfish and barracuda through windows in the hull. The 92-passenger Le Champlain, one of two new yacht-style Ponant ships, will be sailing to Les Saintes, Bequia island, Tobago Cays National Park and St Lucia in March. Scuba diving is available.
