2019: Disney, Universal, more introduced new attractions

Kevin is a character from the 2009 film “Up,” and he first popped into Animal kingdom in February. Kevin is a walk-around character rock star. Park visitors break into a trot when they see her and then follow her, angling for the best selfie possible. Kevin sometimes squawks, sometimes looks disoriented. It’s weirdly endearing. Kevin even works it off stage, as she goes off for her break, she looks back over the cast-members only wall and gives a final screeching goodbye. I won’t say a Kevin spotting is a trip-maker … but it’s definitely something you don’t spy back home in Peoria. Welcome, Kevin.
