Mike Nelson named CEO at International Cruise & Excursions

Mike Nelson, formerly the CEO of Allianz Partners’ U.S. business, has been named CEO of International Cruise Excursions (ICE).

Nelson also will hold a seat on board of directors for the Scottsdale, Ariz.-based agency, ranked No. 20 on Travel Weekly’s 2019 Power List.

In recent months, Brian Fontana has served as interim CEO, president and CFO. ICE said he will continue on as CFO.

Before his most recent role at Allianz, where he spent eight years, Nelson was part of the team that launched Orbitz.

“We are confident Mike can lead the company through our next phase of growth and success, building on the more than 20-year history of innovation and industry leadership,” said Marty Cole, chairman of ICE’s board.
