Covid-19 Cruise Ships Have End In Sight
It still feels like it will be a long time before the cruise industry will ever get going again after Covid-19.

And here in Weymouth Bay some of the ships are not expecting to cruise again until March or April.
Although the largest one in the bay. The Norwegian Bliss will be one of the first to depart. And for her its expected to be mid-December.

Her final destination will be Mexico leaving from the cruise port Los Angeles for a 5day trip. The Mexican Riviera of Cabo and Ensenada then returning back to LA. Prices from £689 or up to £1,849 for The Haven per person.
PO Aurora could be back cruising next March?
For Cunard’s MS Queen Victoria her next passengers will be heading off from Southampton to Hamburg for a 2day trip on 29th April 2021. Price around £329 per person.
Her sister ship the MS Queen Elizabeth has an earlier departure on her British Isles cruise. In effect a UK south coast trip along to the Isles of Scilly and back to Southampton 26th March. Prices from £349 per person.

Earlier in the year all three ships in the Cunard fleet were in the bay at one time as Queen Mary 2 joined her sister ships.
And the PO Aurora has her first trip could well be the 12th March heading to Norway for 12 nights
This is an adults only ship and the oldest ship in the PO fleet. She was the first ship to be painted in the union jack style used by the all the fleet now.
Cruise Ships Become Tourist Attractions
Other ships also in the bay were the TUI cruise line ships Marella Discovery and Marella Explorer. Which, are now themselves tourist attractions. With local skipper of the ‘Josephine’ Clem Carter happy to ferry visitors around them from his base in Weymouth.

Marella Discovery will be operating from Montego Bay on a 8day cruise next March. Costing around £1,423 per person with trips to Colombia, Panama Costa Rica and back to Jamaica around 8 days.

TUI Marella Ships Could Be Heading To The Sun
Her sister ship Marella Explorer could be running cruises from Santa Cruz, Tenerife from as early as November. Seven nights from £642 per person for Colourful Coasts. La Palma, Madeira, Morocco and Lanzarote.

My hope is that all these ships will indeed get away on those itinerary’s and stay cruising.
However, I still have serious doubts that further Covid-19 outbreaks will return them to anchor once again.
