Regal Princess to gain nightclub one night per cruise

Princess Cruises said it will create a South Beach-style nightclub called the Night Sky Lounge aboard the Regal Princess for one night on each cruise when the ship arrives to sail the Caribbean this November.

The lounge will be located at the Retreat Pool on the top deck. It will feature atmospheric pool and furniture lighting, glowing drinks and a DJ using a state-of-the-art audio system.

Guests can enjoy a flair bartending demonstration, order cocktails from the two Jacuzzis or reserve a cabana with hosted bottle service.

“We think the lounge’s great location, beautiful lighting, specialty cocktails and music will be a winning entertainment experience,” Princess President Jan Swartz said.

There will be a nominal entry charge, Princess said.
