Turks and Caicos-Based Airline Launches New Inter-Caribbean Routes

Inter-Caribbean travel, an often arduous chore for many flying within the smaller islands of the Caribbean, will get a boost from Turks and Caicos-based interCaribbean Airways.

InterCaribbean Airways begins scheduled services on December 13 between Kingston’s Normal Manley International Airport and Port-au-Prince, Haiti, its CEO announced Thursday.

The carrier will also fly between Port-au-Prince and the Santo Domingo International Airport in the Dominican Republic.

The new flights will depart the Providenciales International Airport, on the island of Providenciales in the Caicos Islands, between Wednesdays and Sundays at 1:25 p.m. and arrive in Port-Au-Prince at 2:35 p.m.

Flights between Port-Au-Prince airport for Santo Domingo will leave between Thursdays and Saturdays at 11:35 a.m. and arrive at 1:20 PM while flights between Port-Au-Prince and Kingston via Providenciales will leave on Wednesdays at 1:25 p.m. and arrive in Jamaica at 4:50 p.m.

Kingston to Port-Au-Prince flights will leave between Fridays and Saturdays at 3:20 p.m. and arrive at 4:40 p.m. while travelers can also fly directly to Providenciales from Kingston on Sundays at 1:25 p.m. and arrive by 4:50 p.m.
