There seems to be a large amount of teaching positions available in Japan. The easiest way for English speaking immigrants to get a job in this country is likely by finding a teaching job. English teachers in Japan often have living quarters provided and are given a steady paycheck. Nonteaching jobs may be a little more difficult to land; however, Japanese companies will be more apt to hire an individual that can read, write, and speak the Japanese language fluently.

Transportation

Trains in Japan are a convenient and quiet way to travel quickly to nearly any destination in the country. The transportation in Japan is highly developed, modern, and energy efficient. Although traveling by train in Japan is more expensive in comparison to other countries, it uses less energy per person. There are 7 major railroad companies that cover most of the country. The Tokyo monorail is the busiest and most commercially successful monorail line. It carries about 100 million passengers each year. The Osaka monorail is the second longest monorail line in the world. With the many monorail lines and trains, traveling throughout the country for work or play is very convenient.

Parks

Japan is known for their beautiful parks, both local and national. Japan has a total of 29 national parks that feature fields of alpine flora, lakes, seas with tropical fish and coral reefs, ravines, and snow-covered peaks.  Whether the park is located in a residential area or in a busy city, residents of Japan greatly treasure them for enjoyment and recreation. One of the most popular national parks in Japan is Nikko National Park, a 200,000 acre park that centers on the splendid Toshogu Shrine. This park has the mausoleum for Tokugawa Ieyasu, the founder of the first shogun, and majestic cedars and lakeside resorts.
