We live in a magical world, people. Cruise ships are tweeting, drones are serving cocktails and limestone mines are welcoming avid bike enthusiasts.

It was bound to happen at some point: Restaurants in Singapore will get drone waiters sometime in late 2015, which means you won’t have that awkward stare down when the waiter tells you about the specials you have no intention of ordering.

Carnival Vista Becomes Self Aware:
Carnival Vista will set sail in 2016, but it’s already tweeting. Let’s state that a bit more clearly, the ship, the giant thing you live on for a week, is tweeting.
In a brilliant marketing move Carnival is tweeting these beauties ahead of the launch:

Throw this video in the extremely cool pile of things we found around the Internet. It features the University of Illinois’ Bill Hammock explaining the technology behind Titanic’s infancy.
It’s nearly 12 minutes of history presented with wonderfully vivid pictures taken when Titanic was but a gleam in its engineers’ eyes.
