Pangyang River
Pangyang River is the mother river of Bama and regarded as “Longevity River”. The river divides Bama into two parts. Devils’ Cave
Devils’ Cave, in Poyue Village, is located at 25 kilometers north of Bama. As one of the most magnificent and spectacular limestone caves, the Devils’ Cave is divided into four huge caverns that are all worth paying a visit to. An expedtion once studied the cave and get conclusion that the beauties of the grottos all over the world are found in this cave. The cave is praised as “the best limestone cave in the world”. The cave is averagely 70 meters high and 50 meters wide with 4000-meter long tourist route. Devils’ Cave, along with its contiguous neighbor, Gansui Cave, Liuyang Cave and Wuren Cave, is made up an enormous cave group.
The rock water permeates down gradually and formed the deep and shallow pools which are full of spring water. The shallow pools are suitable for water games and the deep ones are for boating, swimming and diving.
In spring, there are blooming flowers, the twitter of birds and singing spring. The most splendid attractions are the stalactite pillars (70-80 meters high and 3-5 meters in diameter) which make up a stone tower group. In addition, mist in the cave makes the view mysterious and ever-changing.
