What to bring to a Nudist Resort in Mexico

Learn about nude resorts and what to bring to a nudist resort. While you might be at an all-inclusive nude resort, we do recommend bringing a few items to make your trip more enjoyable. Is this your first nude resorts visit?  There is nothing to worry about.  At Hidden Beach Resort you will enjoy a private, world-class resort experience.  Read below to see how to best prepare for your stay with us.

What to Expect

Hidden Beach Resort is the only five star, Gourmet Inclusive Experience nudist resort in Tulum.  The resort offers 42 beachfront suites to choose from.  Visitors here can expect a secluded, adults only retreat unlike any other nude resorts in Mexico.

What to Bring

While this is an all-inclusive resort, we do recommend bringing a few items to make your trip more enjoyable.  Please see our recommendations below.

  • Sunscreen and Lip Protectant-Protect your skin from harmful UVA and UVB rays while you are catching some sun or swimming on the beach.  We recommend something with atleast SPF 30+ for maximum protection from the sun, especially as your body will be more exposed than usual.
  • Sunglasses-Protect your eyes from glare with your favorite pair of sunnies.  We prefer polarized sunglasses for the beach, but any UVA/UVB protectant pair will do.
  • Hat-Another must-have to add to your packing list, hats are a simple and easy way to protect your skin from the sun.  Bring a wide-brimmed hat to protect the back of your neck, ears, and face from burning.
  • After-sun care- If all else fails, make sure to bring a soothing lotion, such as aloe, for sunburns.
  • Beach Bag-You will of course need a place to carry all of these things, which is why we strongly recommend bringing a beach bag.  Especially since you won’t have pockets to put anything in!  Have a beach bag to take all your personal items and beach essentials around the resort.
  • Athletic Wear-You might be tempted to check out our gym and exercise amenities; if so you might want to bring your athletic items, such as sneakers, to get the most out of your workout.
  • Clothes-Yes we know this is a nudist resort.  However, keep in mind that you might need clothes in the following situations:
    • If it gets chilly-bring a light jacket or wrap in case you feel cold.
    • If you would like to access any El Dorado Seaside facilities-All Hidden Beach guests have access to El Dorado facilities, however as El Dorado is not a nude resort, you must wear clothes to access them.
    • If you would like to participate in an offsite activity-There are so many fun activities and excursions available in the Riviera-Maya area, such as rappelling, snorkeling and hikes that are not part of Hidden Beach Resorts but you might still want to explore.
    • If you would like to attend one of the themed evening parties-you don’t need clothes exactly- but you might want to dress up in costume or accessorize your au naturel look.
    • Personal Belongings-Finally, don’t forget that you will still need to bring certain personal items with you such as ID, credit cards, passports, airline tickets, prescription drugs and toiletries.

We hope after reading our recommended items to bring to Hidden beach Resorts you are better prepared for your stay!  And last but not least, we recommend bringing a positive attitude!  You will be surprised how relaxing and fun your stay at Hidden Beach Resorts will be.
