Crystal Cruises: The ultra-luxury line has responded to passengers’ demands by offering multi-night excursions that they call Crystal Overland Adventures.

It will have more than a dozen of these “adventures” on its 102-night Grand Pacific Panorama cruise in January 2016.

The one to four-night excursions will take guests hundreds of miles from ports including Shanghai, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Chan May, Xiamen and Sihanoukville.

For instance a two-night The Kingdom of Bhutan “adventure” from Bangkok will take passengers to the Himalayas to visit one of the last remaining Buddhist Kingdoms.
