In most circumstances, the honeymoon is the highlight for most married couples as it is their chance to travel to their dream destinations for the first time as husband and wife. However, the couples on “Married at First Sight” are not like most married couples. Rather, their union is the result of an extreme social experiment wherein four experts pair up strangers to be married at first sight.

In the latest episode of “Married at First Sight,” the three couples finally embarked on their honeymoon after tying the knot. However, as the couples wre getting to know each other, issues began to arise.

Neil and Sam found themselves clashing after Sam took issue with Neil’s passive personality. Neil, on the other hand, wasn’t happy with Sam’s criticisms about his manliness. For David and Ashley, it was issues with intimacy that became the focus of their honeymoon. For the final couple, Tres and Vanessa, it was Vanessa’s concern about Tres’ commitment to their marriage.

At the end of the episode, the three couples are seen giving their marriages a fair shot. While the romance has yet to develop, all three couples decide to become friends with each other first.

In next week’s episode, viewers will get to see the honeymoon continue.

From the teaser promo for episode 5, the couples are seen engaging in couple-themed activities. David and Ashley start spending time with each other. They go on a helicopter ride, go swimming and drink wine. It seems that these activities will help develop the bond between them. They certainly look closer, even lying down beside each other. Tres and Vanessa get along as well and share a romantic dinner together.

Unfortunately, things aren’t improving between Sam and Neil. The two are having trouble connecting with each other due to lack of common interests and conflicting personalities. It also doesn’t help that Sam doesn’t seem interested in Neil. After a fight, Sam walks away saying, “I’ve tried so hard.”

Season 3 of “Married at First Sight” airs every Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on FYI.
